Balancing creativity with financial reality is the aim of our Quantity Surveying Services.

Our specialist staff have broad industry experience supported by the latest in estimating and scheduling technology to provide concept budgeting, strategic cost modelling and cost planning for construction projects.

We deliver projects on time and within budget by providing realistic cost advice at key stages of development:

  • An initial estimate based on functional requirements that usually forms the basis of the project budget
  • A preliminary cost plan based on the accommodation schedule
  • A sketch design cost plan reflecting the initial scheme and confirming or adjusting the budget 
  • Cost checking during design development
  • A financial cost plan based on the completed tender documentation that becomes the pre-tender estimate
  • Cost management /end-cost budgeting during the construction phase.

In addition, we produce a Building Price Index (BPI) for NSW; prepare life-cycle cost plans, developed from initial capital cost to whole of project life costs; and use our comprehensive database expanded over 20 years to prepare replacement cost valuations for fixed assets.

We can apply our expertise to new and adapted buildings, civil and infrastructure works, refurbishments, heritage and restoration as well as internal fit-out, urban development and landscaping.
